Adaptation marks Philip Seymour Hoffman's directorial debut
Philip Seymour Hoffman will star in and also direct Overture Films' adaptation of Bob Glaudini's Off Broadway play, Jack Goes Boating. Starring opposite Hoffman is Amy Ryan (NBC's The Office), and reprising their roles from the stage production are John Ortiz and Daphne Rubin-Vega. The play is described as a romantic comedy about two misfits in New York. Lensing is expected to begin on February 9th in New York.
