Harrison Ford to portray his best Regis Philbin
Harrison Ford will star as a talk show host in Morning Glory, a Paramount comedy from director Roger Michell (Venus). Penned by Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada), the project is about an old-school anchor (Ford) who quits the evening newscast when the show takes a new direction towards gossip. He then is recruited by an up-and-coming producer to help an ailing morning talk show, only to be paired up with one of his rivals. Rachel McAdams is in talks to play the hotshot producer.
