Universal considers remake of John Carpenter cult film
Universal and studio-based Strike Entertainment are in talks to buy the rights to remake They Live, John Carpenter's 1988 cult film. The sci-fi thriller is about a construction worker who finds glasses that enable him to see aliens controlling humanity. It becomes his mission to find a way to stop them. No director or writers are on board.
