WB cuts deal with Nicholas Sparks' latest weeper
The Lucky One, by Nicholas Sparks (Nights in Rodanthe, A Walk to Remember), has been picked up by Warner Bros. in a seven-figure deal. Published last month, the bestseller is about Logan Thibault, a Marine who survives three tours in Iraq. He claims his good fortune is due to a photo of a woman he carries around with him at all times. Though he has never met her, he vows to seek her when he returns to North Carolina.
