WB buys spy book; McG to direct

Upcoming spy novel, Dead Spy Running, by Brit Jon Stock has been picked up by Warner Bros. McG has been tapped to direct. The book, the first of a trilogy, aims to reinvent the spy genre and will be released next year. McG, who is directing at least the first installment, will also produce.
