MGM taps Ukrainian for director gig
Vadim Perelman (House of Sand and Fog) is in talks to helm MGM's Poltergeist update. The haunted house movie, about one family's reaction to a supernatural situation, already landed scribes Juliet Snowden and Stiles White last week.

MGM scares up scribes for horror remake
Stiles White and Juliet Snowden will pen the remake to Poltergeist, a horror that was originally released in 1982. MGM is currently seeking a director for the project.
