Orlando Bloom replaces James Franco
Mark Ruffalo's directorial debut fell by the wayside following the December death of his brother, Scott. However, the project is back on track, and with new cast members. Orlando Bloom will replace a departed James Franco, and Laura Linney will play the band manager.

Mark Ruffalo is Delicious
Mark Ruffalo will mark his directorial debut in Sympathy for Delicious, a film in which he will also star. Written by Chris Thornton, the story is about a paralyzed DJ (Thornton) who is struggling to survive in Los Angeles. After turning to a faith-healer, the man learns to cure the sick, except himself. Ruffalo will be a Jesuit priest who tries to help the man understand his gift, while James Franco will play a rock singer who exploits the man's powers. Production begins this fall in L.A.
