Asimov's epic work gets big screen treatment
Bob Skaye and Michael Lynne will produce Foundation, an adaptation based on a novel by Isaac Asimov, marking the boys' first project post-New Line deal. The adaptation, which actually comes from a Asimov trilogy, is about a society that can predict the future through a method named psychohistory, which the people then use to ensure their survival. If financially successful, adaptations of the rest of the trilogy could happen.
