School is back in session at Paramount
Paramount Pictures is developing a School of Rock sequel. Star Jack Black is already attached to reprise his role as Dewey Finn. Original director Richard Linklater and scribe Mike White are also connected with the project. In the sequel, Black will take a group of summer school kids across the country to explore a broader history of rock 'n' roll, including its roots in blues, rap and country. Scott Rudin will also be back to produce.
