Disney picks up action-comedy power player
Similar in tone to Beverly Hills Cop and Austin Powers, action-comedy Mongoose has been picked up by Disney. The spec script, from scribes Edwin Cannistraci and Frederick Seton, is said to have franchise potential, though not much more is known about the plot. It has also attracted the attention of Jim Carrey and Jason Reitman.
