Marijuana film signs two male leads
Chris Marquette and Cam Gigandet will star in Kid Cannabis, the John Stockwell-directed drama about the true story of two friends in Idaho who built a multimillion-dollar marijuana ring. Maqrquette will be the title character and Gigandet his best friend. They both make a killing by running marijuana from Canada into Idaho, until the feds are alerted to the scheme. Production is expected to begin July 14.
