Laurence Fishburne and Harvey Weinstein party like it's 1988
Laurence Fishburne and Harvey Weinstein are planning to bring Paulo Coelho's 1988 novel, The Alchemist, to the big screen with a $60 million adaptation. The story is about an Andalusian shepherd boy who meets an alchemist while traveling the world in search of treasure. Fishburne will play the alchemist, as well as direct and produce.
