James Purefoy to defend English castle from Paul Giamatti
James Purefoy is in talks to star in Ironclad, a 13th century England action film already starring Paul Giamatti, Richard Attenborough, Pete Postlethwaite, Angus Macfadyen and Colm Meany. The $30 million project, to be helmed by Jonathan English, is based on the legendary story about a Knight Templar and his Magnificent Seven who defended Rochester Castle against King John and his army. If signed, Purefoy would play the knight opposite Giamatti's King John.
