Tommy Lee Jones takes on Hemingway book
Tommy Lee Jones will adapt, direct, produce and star in Islands in the Stream, a novel by Ernest Hemingway, published after his death in 1970. The story is about a reclusive male painter and the various stages of his life before, during and after World War II. Morgan Freeman and John Goodman are in talks to join the film as well. Production is expected to begin in March 2009.
