Four actors sign on for dark dramedy
Ron Perlman, Taryn Manning, Joe Pantoliano and Patrick Flueger joined the cast of The Job, a dark dramedy from writer-director Shem Bitterman. The story, based on Bitterman's 1998 play, is about a man named Bubba (Flueger) who needs a job and wants to marry the woman he loves (Manning). Another man (Perlman) gets him connected with an employment agent (Pantoliano), but Bubba later finds himself way over his head after agreeing to the job. Production begins today in Detroit.
