IFC borrows Safdie's belongings
IFC is in final talks to nab the rights to The Pleasure of Being Robbed, a comedic and atmospheric feature debut from writer-director Joshua Safdie. The story is about a young woman (co-writer Eleonore Hendricks) who finds pleasure in borrowing the belongings of others in New York City. It premiered last month at the South by Southwest Film Festival.
