Australian to play adventurous Eloise in adaptation
Australian actress Jordana Beatty landed the lead role in Eloise in Paris, an upcoming adaptation from HandMade Films based on the book by Kay Thompson. The story is about the adventures of Eloise, a young girl who lives in New York with her dog, turtle and Nanny (Uma Thurman). The studio is eying the Eloise character as a potential franchise. Production begins Aug. 12 in Paris, New York and the south of France.
