Teri Polo agrees to lead role in Lies
Teri Polo has signed on and Dean Cain and Jay Thomas may join in as leads in Material Lies, a film from writer-director Katherine Starr (The Masking). The story is about a struggling actor (Cain) who arranges a reunion of his former college friends after learning that he has leukemia. Because the group includes his former sweetheart (Polo), the actor goes to a friend (Thomas) to help make him appear wealthy and successful. Production is expected to begin in June in Malibu.
