MGM acquires Wexler's comedy spec script
MGM's picked up its first comedy spec under new chairman Mary Parent: Bobism, written by Ben Wexler (CBS's Still Standing). The story is about a shy college student who learns that aliens from the future want him dead. Why? His blog is destined to become the basis for a utopian society in 1,000 years. They, of course, want to ensure that the student's foreseen vision never becomes a reality.
