Austen's Emma to be hip-hop musical
Jane Austen's classic Emma is getting reimagined in a strange way by Screen Gems: a hip-hop musical for the big screen. Set in a contemporary inner-city high school, the story will revolve around a stepbrother and stepsister and include at least 15 song and dance numbers. The screenplay was written by Tyger Williams (Menace II Society).
