Vet producer picks up Sept. 11-related novel
Scott Rudin, who produced No Country for Old Men with the Coen brothers, optioned the novel Maynard & Jessica and attached Liz Meriwhether to write the adaptation. Rudolph Delson's book is about the relationship between a filmmaker-musician and his girlfriend before, during and after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. It is told from multiple points of view, including people familiar with their relationship.
