Trio join indie drama
Joe Mantegna, Eric Balfour and Armand Assante will star in The Fifth Mafia, an indie feature to be helmed by Vito J. Giambalvo. The drama, co-written by Miles A. Robinson, Paul Olsen and Philip M. Olsen, is about the son (Balfour) of a murdered Madfioso. He seeks revenge for the death at the hands of his uncle (Assante). James Van Der Beek is in negotiations to star as a member of the FBI, who becomes entangled in the debacle.
