Trio pick up indie comedy project
John Goodman, ed Asner and Jane Alexander joined the cast of Gigantic, an indie romantic comedy from newbie director Matt Aselton. Written by Aselton and first-time scribe Adam Nagata, the story is about a mattress salesman (Paul Dano) who meets a young woman (Zooey Deschanel) at his store. Asner and Alexander will play Dano's parents, and Goodman will be Deschanel's father.
