Frost/Nixon star joins two projects
Brit Michael Sheen (Frost/Nixon) will co-star with Samuel L. Jackson in thriller Unthinkable and stand alongside Johnny Depp in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Both projects are a change of pace for Sheen, who usually plays real-life characters to great critical acclaim. Unthinkable, to begin shooting this month, is about a terrorist threatening to detonate nuclear weapons in the United States.

Samuel L. does the Unthinkable
Samuel L. Jackson (The Spirit) will star in Unthinkable, a suspense thriller now helmed by Gregor Jordan. Penned by Peter Woodward and Orin Moverman, the story is about a threat posed to the U.S. when one terrorist keeps secret the locations of three nuclear weapons. An interrogator (Jackson) and a female FBI agent must decide how far they will go to find the devices. Production is expected to begin Sept. 2.

Slade to direct Unthinkable
David Slade (Hard Candy) will direct Unthinkable, a thriller about the interrogation of a man who knows where three nuclear weapons are supposed to detonate. Peter Woodward (Closing the Ring) and Oren Moverman (I'm Not There) wrote the screenplay.
