Men in Trees star to star in Welles biopic
James Tupper (ABC's Men in Trees) was tapped to play actor Joseph Cotten in Me and Orson Welles, an indie biopic from director Richard Linklater (Before Sunset). Cotten's career as an actor was launched by Welles by starring in Citizen Kane and The Magnificent Ambersons. He then went on to star in films by Alfred Hitchcock.

Actors sign up for Linklater adaptation
Claire Danes (Stardust), Eddie Marsan (Miami Vice), Leo Bill (Becoming Jane) and Imogen Poots (28 Weeks Later) joined the cast of Me and Orson Welles, a Richard Linklater-directed adaptation of Robert Kaplow's coming-of-age novel. Already cast is Zac Efron (High School Musical 2), a high school student who passes a yet-to-open Mercury Theatre in 1937 and is noticed by Orson Welles, its founder. The script was penned by Vince Palmo and Holly Gent Palmo (Dazed and Confused). It is expected to begin production in February.
