Jeffrey Dean Morgan heads to Shanghai
Jeffrey Dean Morgan secured a spot in Shanghai, co-starring in the Mikael Hafstrom project alongside John Cusack and Ken Watanabe. In the film, Morgan will play Connor, an American killed in Shanghai prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Li hits up Shanghai
Gong Li (Hannibal Rising) signed up to appear in Shanghai, a period drama to be shot in China early next year. John Cusack is also in negotiations to star. If signed, Cusack will join director Mikael Hafstrom, who helmed the Cusack-starred 1408 earlier this year. The film, taking place four months before Pearl Harbor, is about a man who travels to Japanese-occupied Shanghai, only to discover his friend is dead.
