Arsenio Hall, Rosie Perez to voice characters
The Hero of Color City is back in the news for Exodus Film Group (Igor). The company made a deal with Simon & Schuster to complement the feature film. And in casting news, Rosie Perez, Craig Ferguson and Arsenio Hall will voice characters in the movie.

Magnolia Colors Animated Tale
Magnolia Pictures has obtained the North American distribution rights to Exodus Film Group's CG-animated film The Hero of Color City. The whimsical story will look at the adventures of a group of crayons who try to protect their magical and colorful land from an evildoer. The eclectic mix of crayons move back and forth between two worlds, one is the magical Color City and the other is the "real world" where they work at a preschool. The screenplay was written by J.P. McCormick and Rich Raczelowski. Magnolia, which is a distribution arm of 2929 Entertainment, has had recent success with such films as Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room and Steven Soderbergh's Bubble.
