D'Arienzo fills dark comedy cast with slew of actors

Judy Greer, Chloe Sevigny, Cybill Shepherd and Billy Dee Williams signed up for roles in Barry Munday, a dark romantic comedy from writer-director Chris D'Arienzo (Hot) already starring Patrick Wilson. In the film, Wilson stars as a womanizer who loses his testicles in an attack and then finds himself involved in a paternity lawsuit with a woman (Greer) he doesn't remember having a fling with. Sevigny will play Greer's sister, Shepherd their mother and Williams will be Wilson's boss. Previously announced cast members Luke Wilson and Emily Mortimer are no longer attached to star.

Mortimer joins Barry Munday

Emily Mortimer has signed on to star alongside Luke Wilson in the indie comedy Barry Munday. The film is based on Frank Turner Hollon's novel Life Is a Strange Place, and tells the story of an inveterate womanizer who wakes up one morning sans his family jewels after an irate dad attacks him with a trumpet.

Wilson brother loses jewels

Luke Wilson is set to star in Barry Munday, in which he'll play a womanizer who is surprised to wake up without his family jewels when an irate father attacks him with a trumpet. Matters only get worse for Barry when he learns that he's being sued for paternity support by a woman who he can't even remember being with. Amy Adams is in talks to co-star, and Chris D'Arienzo will both write and direct.
