Two screenwriters take over for Gina Wendkos
Scribes Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont were hired by Columbia Pictures to rewrite Gina Wendkos' Big Man on Campus. The story is about unexpected changes in the balances of power between the cool kids and the nerds when the most popular girl in school is rejected by the dorkiest guy.

Columbia gets Big Man on Campus
Columbia Pictures has snapped up the rights to the pitch Big Man on Campus and set scripter Gina Wendkos to handle the screenplay. She has previously written the scripts for such stuff as The Princess Diaries and The Perfect Man. The comedy will take place in a high school where beauty and brains fight it out for power, which causes a shift in the power structure of the cliques.
