Jack Black rejects Old School director
Jack Black dropped out of Man-Witch, a supernatural comedy to be directed by Todd Phillips. Black's people said they questioned Phillips' commitment to the project, considering another film, Hangover, seemed to be considerably closer to the director's heart. Black signed on to appear last year.

WB picks up a Man-Witch
Warner Bros. has purchased the comedy pitch Man-Witch and set Josh Stolberg and Bobby Florsheim to write the screenplay. The movie centers on a male schoolteacher who suddenly discovers that he has witchy abilities. A coven of witches takes him in and sends him to witch school, where he is the only man amidst a group of young girls studying in the craft.
