Robin Williams in talks to join political biopic
Robin Williams may join the cast of The Prince of Providence, a political biopic of corrupt Providence, Rhode Island Mayor Vincent "Buddy" Cianci (Oliver Platt). The comic's participation will depend on scheduling issues as yet determined. Other actors already signed on include Dermot Mulroney, Adam Goldberg, Bradley Cooper and Ed Burns.

Mamet scripts Prince of Providence
Michael Corrente is set to direct The Prince of Providence from a screenplay by David Mamet. The story centers around Providence Mayor Buddy Cianci, who went to jail after being brought down in a corruption scandal.
