DreamWorks gets into the graphic novel game
DreamWorks optioned the rights to Platinum Studios' graphic novel, Atlantis Rising, which the studio aims to adapt into a live-action feature film. The story is a political science-fiction thriller about an underwater kingdom coming to the brink of war with the world on the water's surface. The civilizations of both societies hang in the balance.

Platinum Studios going to Atlantis
Platinum Studios is joining up with Gale Anne Hurd to produce the feature-length film Atlantis Rising. They're also planning to release a massively multiplier online video game to coincide with the film's debut. The story will be based on a graphic novel from Platinum Studios that was was created by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg and written by Scott O. Brown. It's a political science-fiction thriller about an underwater kingdom coming to the brink of war with the world on the
water's surface. The civilizations of both societies hang in the balance.
