Jake Gyllenhaal to reign as Prince
Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton will star in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Disney's adaptation of a popular video game created by Jordan Mechner. The story is about a young prince (Gyllenhaal) in 6th century Persia who must fight alongside an exotic princess (Arterton) in order to protect the Sands of Time from a villain. The Sands of Time gives its possessor the ability to reverse time. To be directed by Mike Newell, the adaptation was penned by Mechner, Doug Miro, Carlo Bernard and Boaz Yakin.
