Australian Byrne lands thrilling role
Rose Byrne (FX's Damages) will star opposite Nicolas Cage in Knowing, a sci-fi thriller to be directed by Alex Proyas (I, Robot). In the filmed penned by Ryne Douglas Pearson (Mercury Rising), Byrne will be the daughter of a woman who buried a time capsule in the 60s that predicted the deaths of historical figures and an imminent world apocalypse. Cage will be a professor who comes across the time capsule. Production is expected to begin March 25 in Australia.

Cage unravels the future
Nicolas Cage (Ghost Rider) will star in Knowing, a thriller to be directed by Alex Proyas (I, Robot). The film, expected to begin production on March 17 in Melbourne, is about a teacher (Cage) who discovers a 1950s time capsule containing children's drawings that predict the future. Most have already come true, but there is one set that has yet to come true, so Cage goes about preventing it from happening.

Proyas is Knowing
Alex Proyas (I, Robot) is set to direct Knowing, a supernatural thriller about a man who discovers a 1950s time capsule containing children's drawings that predict the future. One set of these drawings shows terrible events that have already taken place; however, one of these events has not come true, so he goes about preventing it from happening.
