Simpson is Employee of Month
Jessica Simpson is set to star in Employee of the Month for Lions Gate. She'll join Dane Cook in the film, which is being directed by Gregory Coolidge. Simpson will play a newly hired cashier at a discount superstore who finds her attentions being sought by two doofy clerks. Their competition eventually causes them to brutally fight for the Employee of the Month competition.

Dane Cook is great Employee
Dane Cook (Waiting) is in talks to star in Employee of the Month for Lions Gate Films and director Gregory Coolidge. In the film, he'll play one of two dorky clerks at a discount superstore. The two guys decide that the affections of a fellow cashier are suddenly at stake, so they ramp up the competition for Employee of the Month in order to catch her eye.

Lions Gate hires their Employee of the Month
Lions Gate has signed Greg Coolidge to make his feature film directing debut on the comedy Employee of the Month. The film centers around two total slackers who are nonetheless in direct competition with one another. When they get wind of a rumor that a new hottie might date the store's employee of the month, they both put forth a concerted effort to be the ideal Costco worker. Coolidge previously co-wrote the screenplay for Sorority Boys and directed the short film Queen for a Day.
