Bolt goes 3-D
Disney's Bolt will be released in 3-D when it appears in theaters Nov. 26, 2008. Disney, which has pioneered the format, previously released Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons and Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas in digital 3-D.

Lilo & Stitch director/writer Chris Sanders is back in the Disney fold with American Dog.

Chris Sanders, who wrote and co-directed the last successful 2-D film in Lilo & Stitch, is returning to work in the Disney animation arena with his project American Dog, which he wrote. The film will be both storyboarded and shot in 3-D. According to Hollywood Reporter, Sanders notes, "We are going to have to wait out the current wave and when some of the 3-D films don't work, maybe the 2-D stuff will seem like something special."
